Usps online tracking is often incorrect despite usps having the actual pinpoint location of each package scanned delivery. This information is provided by the zebra TC77 scanner used by usps. However the online tracking doesn’t show that information. Instead usps online tracking reflects whatever the usps employee delivering the mail wants it to say. Usps employees routinely scan packages delivered when they are not at the delivery location on the label. I was informed of this detail by a Usps supervisor in the usps Atlanta consumer affairs department. They should be called the “usps consumer who cares department” that phrase fits the closer to the experience you will have with the so called usps consumer affairs department. Despite Usps using the statement your package was delivered as labeled they never check the scanner information for confirmation. Instead Usps uses only the word of the postal delivery person as their proof, even with the real proof sitting in the devices used by all of their delivery people. WHAT A WASTE OF TAX PAYER DOLLARS! To have the technology yet instead of using it to improve usps hides the information from its customers. 

Usps declines millions of claims for this very same reason, delivered as labeled. The actions of usps is clearly fraudulent. They have all the technology in house to ensure the packages of American citizens are properly processed and delivered. Usps could provide American citizens with a 100% transparent end to end tracking experience. The scanners they use have cameras as well if they wanted to be like Amazon and provide proof of the delivery location image. However Usps prefers to swindle and cheat American citizens out of their rights as the owner of the mishandled or stolen package. Usps has created a perfect environment for employee theft. No follow up, no consequences and a system full of questionable practices. Usps polices are geared to keep Americans in the dark about the actual whereabouts of their package, this is UNACCEPTABLE! This is why we need #trackingtransparency bill of rights for all the packages we ship with usps.

Bill of rights:

All consumers, shippers, citizens, organizations and businesses deserve the true shipping history of any package shipped or received. Usps doesn’t have a right to manipulate or fraudulently alter this information. We have created my tracking transparency rights we are all entitled to. 

The right to correct updated tracking.
The right to all the scanner information for the tracking of our packages.
The right to any satellite and internet report for the tracking.
The right to a streamlined online claim process for all claims.
The right to honest and real due process from a real forward leaning consumer affairs department.
