As you can see, I have a rough idea what the uniform could look like. I am not able to use the same Fonts that USF uses or add the gold shoulder horn feature. Since 2015, USF has changed to gold numbers and letters. This looked fine until recently USF Football has made the gold numbers “metallic” instead and many USF fans complain about the look. What do schools like Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Michigan State have? They have helmets matching the colored jerseys with white numbers, and white pants with a stripe down the sides. Why have they had it for years and still do to this day? Because tradition works, and looks good. It makes them look powerful. It gives them tradition. They look intimidating. It looks GOOD. Why should we have to settle for shiny gold numbers ? It makes us look like a junior league team. USF has great colors, and great opportunities for a nice uniform. Some aspects look great, such as the bull horn on the shoulders, our Iconic U on the helmet, the South Florida written out on the chest. Those should all stay. I’m personally not a fan of Adidas because they try to look futuristic instead of traditional. But I truly believe that white numbers would look AMAZING. Green jerseys, white numbers, gold trim, gold horn on shoulder, etc. I am very excited to start this petition. If you feel as I do, please take the time to sign this petition.
