I have been using discord since, its early days when it was common to have no one heard about it, and as a result i have been apart of many different discord Teams and Staff in many servers where i mostly worked with using it to create communities.

I am in regular contact with a lot of community owners and we all agree that the new backend UI is an absolute atrocity. There was nothing wrong with the old UI and we think that discord is backpaddling on its design and making it harder for users to use. The new UI has several issues,

1. Bloat - there are many copied aspects of the UI making there much more for the user to screw up when editing a channel, less is more and don't copy functions.

2. Spacing - The new UI has large spacing between different elements making it look ugly and making it take up more screen relisatate.

3. un-nsicery additions - the new UI now has a badge besides the tag name, this is not needed and looks bad.

4. harder to use - So many of the functions have been bloated and expanded without adding new features, there are now multiple different areas that do the same thing, this looks bad.

in conclusion this update to your UI was un-wanted by anyone, and infect in most cases this makes the jobs of your users harder.

We want to revert these changes to the old UI when it was simple to use and not bloated.
