Children burned alive. Babies crushed to death. Families blown to bits by Israeli rockets. These are some of the horrifying crimes that have unfolded in Gaza in the past few weeks. The devastation inflicted upon the Palestinian people, especially its children, is nothing short of a humanitarian catastrophe.

These actions are not just tragic; they are crimes against humanity, blatant violations of international law, and they must be stopped.

The heart-wrenching images of suffering flooding our screens have been a brutal awakening, a stark reminder of the atrocities occurring. In this short period of time, 7000 Palestinian children, including countless infants, have had their lives mercilessly cut short, not including children trapped under the rubble.

They’re only "crime”; being born in Gaza. Their humanity; trampled upon.  Their deaths; a crime against humanity.

The Israeli government's current response to the horrendous actions of Hama, while provoked, is ultimately grotesque and inhumane, extending far beyond the notion of justice. Their pursuit of “justice” comes at the cost of the most innocent lives in Gaza, resulting in what will become a genocide.

While we recognize and acknowledge Israel's right to self-defense, we must condemn actions that cross into the territory of crimes against humanity.

We must find another path to bring Hamas to justice. We must end the suffering of the Palestinian people.

ALL US CITIZENS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE: OUR CALL TO ACTION

President Biden, we, your voting constituents, primarily registered Democrats and Independents, urgently call upon you to reconsider your support for Israel during these horrifying events in Gaza. We implore you to wield the immense power of the presidency to end the suffering in Palestine rather than enabling further conflict.

Here and now we pledge to utilize the power of our vote to save the Children of Palestine.

We commit to withholding our vote for you in the next election if you persist in supporting these actions without actively pursuing a resolution that respects human rights and lives.

We call on you to order an immediate ceasefire on the Palestinian people, and seek another path to bring Hamas to justice.  

This is not a plea to be ignored. We stand by our pledge, and we call upon you to act now.

Update to Petition 11/17/23

• We are nearing 7,000 children killed as of this week.
• Official death count is approx. 12,000 - not including those trapped under the rubble. Actual death toll may be as high as 20,000.
• Approximately 1 in 200 residents of Gaza have been killed.
• 200 Palestinian doctors have been killed according to Doctor’s without Borders
• 102 UN Workers have been killed as of 11/14/23
• Over 40 journalists killed since Oct 7, 2023.

Winter is coming to Gaza.  Over 600,000 Gazans have been forcefully displaced from northern Gaza, akin to the Nakba of 1947. Many wounded have been discharged immediately following treatment or surgery due to lack of space, or safety concerns surrounding hospitals in Gaza. They live in tent encampments, without sanitation, and minimal protection from the cold and rain. 

Recent illegal and despicable actions perpetrated by Netanyahu’s Israeli Government:

• EUROMED Human Rights Monitor reports that 25,000 tons of explosives dropped on Gaza since 10/07 - roughly the equivalent of 2 nuclear bombs
• Jewish settlers armed by the Israeli government are stealing land from Palestinian civilians, often resulting in the murders of those civilians.
• Deliberate attacks on hospitals, ambulances, UN facilities, and refugee camps, causing hundreds of casualties and blatant violations of international law and basic human rights.
  Severe restrictions on humanitarian aid entering Gaza, leading to shortages of water, food, fuel, medical care, and sanitation.
• Netanyahu REJECTS Biden’s call for a Humanitarian pause, Blinken pathetically humiliated in the Middle East.
• Al Shifa Hospital  - the situation has grown more dire, and misinformation and conflicting reports have made it hard to discern what is true. What is clear is that many non militant civilians have been sheltering at Al Shifa, and seeking medical treatment.  The hospital had been denied electricity due to bombardment, and fuel and medical supplies have been (and continue to be) cut off. The Israeli army has surrounded the hospital and shot people trying to leave or enter.  Finally hospital workers were allowed to bury the hundreds of dead bodies in the courtyard of the building, in a mass grave.  Photo and video evidence showed 39 premature babies were taken out of their incubators after electricity was cut off. At least 3 died because of lack of treatment.  Eventually they were moved to a part of the hospital that had electricity.  An adult patient in the ICU died, along with 3 more children on life support. 
• Southern Gaza - the IDF has dropped fliers in southern Gaza instructing Khan Younis CIty residents to evacuate - indicating they are moving their campaign to the southern part of Gaza, and is likely to ramp up bombing.

Tell Biden: 

WE WON’T STAND BY WHILE THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN ARE MURDERED! CEASEFIRE!

The US gives $3.8 billion in aid a year to Israel - unbelievably Biden wants to give them more! In addition to this staggering about of annual aid, the House has approved a $14 BILLION WEAPONS PACKAGE, and the Biden administration is poised to transfer an additional $320 BILLION IN PRECISION BOMBS to the Israeli government.

Let’s send Biden a direct message, that if he doesn't listen to what THE ENTIRE WORLD IS SAYING, he will no longer have the authority to give ANYONE bombs to drop on innocent civilians.
