Let me start by saying that I whole heartedly believe that students, parents and teachers are trying their best to make the "Hybrid" learning model currently in place for the "In Person" students work, unfortunately it is not. In fact many would say it's a complete catastrophe and is merely the digital version of the paper packets we received last spring. 

We are failing these kids day after day, week after week and the only solution is to put them in a brick and mortar building 5 days a week. Teachers working 12-14 hours a day, students only having 15 mins a day on screen with a teacher and parents who work full time jobs only to come home and spend hours working with their kids on school is not a sustainable nor acceptable education. 

Please sign this petition if you are a parent, student, educator or taxpayer in the Manhattan-Ogden school district and would like to see your child/children get the in person (5 day a week) education you chose before the onset of school.  I am not sure what this petition will accomplish but the least we can do as taxpayers is let our opinions be known. We are forever altering the social, emotional and educational well being of our youth and we have to give them a voice. 

*please no negative comments, I get that COVID is a real thing but I also believe our children deserve better, our teacher deserve better, our administrators deserve better and our tax dollars deserve better.
