Currently severe retrogression of EB1 category. One of the important reason is people from backlogged countries are porting their old priority date. For example a manager has priority date of 2011. Now in 2019 he gets qualified for EB1C. There is nothing wrong by doing so. Problem he will port his old priority date and gets ahead of every body in line. The skill sets for EB1 are different from EB2. In such they are welcome to join the new line but retaining old priority date should be banned as they have acquired the new skills recently. People can port but retaining old priority date should not be allowed. It is causing injustice to people waiting patiently.
