As USC students we are in a special position of advantage concerning issues related issues related to the corona virus. With the resources we receive as students at this presitigous university, we would like to extend our support to the hospitality staff and workers who help keep our campus safe 24/7, keep our dorms clean, and feed us in our dining halls. Many workers haven't been told how the closure of campus will effect their pay in the upcoming months. As evidenced by the recent workers strike, many of the workers who help make our college run smoothly are already having trouble making ends meet.

Workers with families to feed and rent to pay rely on the consistent paycheck provided by USC and are not even afforded full information about what would happen in a very possible multi month closure. While USC claims that will we will be open till April 14th it is very possible this is not going to happen as the situation with Corona gets worse. Many universities including Harvard, Stanford, and NYU have already shut down their campuses. The trojan community loves our staff and we are very grateful for the work they do. We ask that the university listen to our voices and provide compensation and atleast information to our beloved workers.
