Nancy Armour, USA TODAY to be Fired over Kobe article after death!
The Issue
This is a very disturbing article for the fans following Kobe Bryant's death on Sunday. This article was poor taste and bad timing for the Bryant family and friends who are still in mourning on his tragic death alongside the other family onboard on Sunday. I and many others feel like this was disrespectful and a cruel cheap shot to Kobe and his family following his death not even 24 hours of him being in a tragic accident killing him and his 13-year-old daughter, with Wife Vanessa and the rest of the family left to pick up the pieces. She stated that for 17 years she has been harbouring this ill-feeling for Kobe Bryant and she never moved passed his 2003 Alleged Rap Case because he didn't apologize the way she felt he should have apologized. Pointing out a terrible time in his life, for all that was involved. She was upset because people were glorifying Kobe's contributions to the world, not just sports. Kobe grew from that situation and wanted to show the world how much he respects women and was an ambassador for women sports and even ended up coaching his daughter young girls team. She could have kept this a private thought and kept a greater restraint as a journalist since she didn't say it to him in 17yrs. Instead, she wanted to reshape people opinion of Kobe and redirect the narrative to make people feel ashamed and inhuman because they were mourning an American tragedy for everyone involved in that crash. Media personnel such as this woman Nancy can do a lot of good with the power to write articles uplifting and positive to help the families of that crash read something that may help them rebuild from this tragedy but instead chose to right bad timing piece to keep them down and wanted the public to help aid her in changing the narrative to being triumph for sexually abuse in Kobe Bryant's Death, I can assure you if someone would have taken this approach and wrote an article about those 3 boys she idolizes and probably feels they can do no wrong, I know at that time she wouldn't want such an article wrote in their deaths as focus other than remembering them in an inspiring light. This was unjust and uncalled for at this time of grief of Kobe, his 13-year old daughter Gianna. This article that USA Today approved her to release to the public upon millions still mourning his untimely death including his wife and kids is not something that should be tolerated and she needs to be fired! USA Today needs to take action against Nancy Armour.
