Bring Peeps Home

Bring Peeps Home
On Monday May 3rd, Peeps, a rescued Canadian goose went missing from his home in Prior Lake, Mn. Peeps was recovered near Savage, Mn when he tried to get into a truck to "go home" as he was used to doing with his family. He is currently in a rehabilitation home awaiting transfer to another long term rehabilitation facility.
Peeps has lived with the Ronnie Hendrickson family on their 47 acre property for the past year. He is able to roam and fly at will and enjoys time on the property's pond. He has a mate, Puddles, also a rescued Canadian goose. They go with Ronnie Hendrickson to Prior Lake for extra room to spread their wings and get additional flying time. It is necessary for us to transport them for this beneficial time as they would not be able to fly there on their own. They follow us, their human family, as their flock. Peeps and Puddles mean so much to so many people. Their social media presence has brought joy to many families in MN and beyond.
Because of the fact that Peeps and Puddles are too domesticated, they could not be fully rehabilitated to live in the wild. As a result, they will need to be kept in captivity long term. We are asking that the long term place be with us on our Prior Lake property. We are asking for a pardon or exception to be able to bring Peeps home and care for him and Puddles for the rest of their natural lives. We feel that it is in the best interest of the geese to be allowed to lived as close to wild as possible under the protection of Ronnie Hendrickson.
