Subject.- Share Auto Rickdhaw nuisance  extortion/Traffic jam/heavy noise polltuion due to BEST AC mini bus missing.

Share Auto Rickshaws have created nuisence of traffic jams, rude behavior and extortion for all commuters using last mile connectivity outside all suburb railway stations  especially for bkc at kurla west and bandra east.

Extortion taking place as fare sign boards missing at pickup/drop points, resulting in frequent, daily quarels and often resulting in i fights between passengers and rickshaw drivers. Disutes at times become part of media reports. .

Lack of awareness campaign to inform commuters exact payable share fare

Traffic jams at pickup/drop points as BEST mini AC buses missing

Rash driving to complete as many trips as posible endangering life of pedestrians and other motorist as not enough policeman present

Unlicenced/unfit vehicals driven by without proper uniform drivers.

Often driven with over loaded 4th passenger 

Locals find it imposse to get meter rickshaws for other destinations. 

Heavy rickshaw traffic has resulted in sound pollution health hazard which is never getting measured by police or MPCB. 

Even share rickshaws chose thier passengers and refuse ride for destination share passengers 

Why authorities have turned a blind eye as problem exist since years now ? Is it deliberately? 

Its unfortunate that Metro 2b alignment is not reaching Kurla and bandra railway station. in such a scenario only immediate and urgent solution to save public from rickshaw nuisanse is BEST Mini AC buses to replace rickshaw. Such mini bus need to run on route which Rickshaws plsy and is shortest route to reach BKC from Kurla. Present BEDT route of 310 is long route not adopted by most commuters. 

Please take urgent permanent action.
