To Local Officials and Law Enforcement Leadership,

We, the undersigned residents of Laflin Borough and surrounding communities, are requesting immediate increased police presence and traffic enforcement due to escalating safety concerns in our neighborhood.

Over recent months, residents have directly reported multiple incidents, including:

• Vehicle break-ins
• Repeated stop sign violations
• Ongoing concerns about speeding and reckless driving throughout residential streets

These incidents are not isolated. They are occurring in multiple locations within the same community, creating a clear and growing pattern of unsafe and unlawful behavior.

Of particular concern is the risk posed to young children and families. These streets are residential areas where children live, walk, and play daily. The continued disregard for stop signs and speeding vehicles creates a serious and unacceptable safety hazard.

Residents are increasingly feeling unsafe in their own neighborhood, both in terms of property security and roadway safety.

We respectfully but urgently request:

• Increased and consistent police patrols throughout Laflin Borough
• Strict enforcement of traffic laws
• Targeted enforcement in areas experiencing vehicle break-ins
• A visible and ongoing police presence to deter further criminal activity

We are asking for immediate action and long-term attention to ensure the safety of all residents.
