22 local children with additional needs in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford currently have no access to an education in Sept 2025 due to capacity issues at the only Special School. 
The constitutional right of our children to an education is being denied. 
Urgent action is needed to increase the capacity of St. John’s Special School in Dungarvan as an interim measure to accommodate our children in need for Sept 2025.
The approval of a new green field campus for St.Johns is essential to ensure the sustainability of St. John’s due to ever growing demand and the provision of education to the most vulnerable among us. We need the people of Ireland to stand with us now and make a change in Dungarvan.
