Help Us Keep Our Family Together!

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart as my husband, Andre Dweyer, faces imminent deportation to Jamaica.

We have been building our lives together, and Andre has become an essential part of our family. His deportation would not only tear us apart as a family, but it would cause irreparable damage to our household — especially to our two young sons, who need their father’s love, guidance, and stability now more than ever at this critical stage in their lives.

My husband has lived in the United States since he was just 8 years old. This is the only home he truly knows. From a young age, Andre excelled in education and demonstrated a deep commitment to helping others. As a child, he volunteered consistently, providing computer repairs and technical support for his school, ensuring students had access to essential resources. His dedication and abilities earned him college scholarships and widespread recognition for his character, skills, and educational achievements.

As an adult, Andre continued to give back to his community. He has worked caring for individuals with disabilities, contributed to successful community events, and helped support essential services and safety standards in our homes and neighborhoods. His life has been defined by service, responsibility, and compassion.

Andre acknowledges that he made a mistake — a mistake that does not define who he is. Since that time, he has worked tirelessly to rebuild his life with integrity and purpose. He attends church, creates job opportunities for others, mentors youth, supports families, and remains actively involved in uplifting our community.

He is not merely a statistic or a case number. He is a husband, a father, a mentor, and a provider — a man who deserves a second chance to continue contributing positively to the community and to raise his children.

If my husband is deported, the consequences will be devastating. Our two young sons — who have never been to Jamaica — would be left without their father’s daily presence, emotional support, and guidance. Removing Andre would destabilize their lives during a critical period of their mental and emotional development, creating lasting trauma.

Family unity is essential — not only for emotional well-being, but for mental health, physical support, and financial stability. Deportation in this case would inflict harm far beyond one individual; it would deeply affect innocent children and a family that depends on him.

I am asking for your help to rally support for my husband. With your voices, we can advocate for compassion, understanding, and justice. Every signature demonstrates the strength of our community and our belief in giving people the opportunity to learn, grow, and rebuild.

Families are being torn apart every day by an immigration system that too often fails to consider the irreparable harm caused to children, spouses, and relatives left behind. Compassion and family unity must be central to immigration decisions.

Please join me in this fight — to keep our family together, to keep a mentor available for our youth, and to preserve a man who is willing and ready to continue serving his community.

Please sign and share our story.
Together, we can inspire hope and create change that will impact not only our family, but generations to come.

🙏 We truly thank you for your support.
