Urgent and Principled Appeal Regarding the Humanitarian Crisis in Iran
Urgent and Principled Appeal Regarding the Humanitarian Crisis in Iran
The Issue
Dear Respected President Trump,
We write to you with profound respect and a deep sense of urgency regarding the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Iran. We are Iranians living outside our homeland—many of us forced to leave because of repression, insecurity, and the absence of fundamental freedoms. Despite our distance, our families, friends, and communities remain inside Iran, and we continue to witness their suffering through firsthand accounts.
You have long been recognized as a leader who values clarity, resolve, and standing by one’s words. It is in that spirit that many Iranians, both inside and outside the country, continue to look to you with hope.
Based on direct accounts from individuals who have recently left Iran, the situation inside the country is far more severe than what is currently reflected in international reporting and Media. These accounts consistently describe widespread repression, systematic violence, and an atmosphere of fear that has become part of daily life. It is widely believed that a significant number of families have been directly affected through the killing, detention, or disappearance of loved ones.
According to these witnesses, authorities frequently impose harsh and degrading conditions on families seeking to recover the bodies of those killed. These conditions reportedly include prohibitions on burial or memorial services, the payment of substantial sums of money, and the forced signing of statements falsely attributing the deaths to external actors. Member of the IRGC visit hospitals in Iran in civilian cloths and shoot the wounded directly to the head. such practices constitute serious violations of human dignity and internationally recognized human rights norms.
The nationwide internet access has been deliberately shut down and that telephone communications are subject to extensive surveillance. This isolation has effectively silenced the population and prevented the outside world from understanding the full scale of events. Furthermore, it is alleged that advanced surveillance technologies are being used to identify protesters, followed by targeted raids on private homes. Many detainees are reportedly held in unofficial facilities, denied due process, subjected to coercion, and, in some cases, executed without transparent judicial proceedings. Families fear that some victims are buried in unmarked or unknown locations.
What makes this crisis especially alarming is its scope. Reports indicate that violence has affected all segments of society, including children, teenagers, women, Men and the elderly. Those living through these events describe them as systematic and deliberate, creating a widespread sense of despair and hopelessness among the population.
At the same time, the protests themselves are driven not by ideology, but by poverty, corruption, and the denial of basic economic dignity. Iran is a country rich in natural resources and national wealth, yet the vast majority of its citizens live in hardship. It is widely believed that economic security is limited to a very small segment of society closely connected to those in power, while ordinary people struggle to meet even their most basic needs.
There are also serious allegations that, while violently suppressing its own population, the Iranian regime continues to divert national resources toward supporting armed groups beyond its borders. Many Iranians see this as a tragic contradiction: a government that invests in power abroad while inflicting suffering on its own people.
Mr. President, there is an overwhelming sense among Iranians that time is critical. Many fear that without prompt and decisive international attention and Invasion, further irreversible harm will occur. History shows that moments like this demand leadership grounded in principle and moral clarity.
We are asking for conflict. We are asking for accountability, protection of fundamental human rights, and support for a people who seek to live in dignity in a country that should be prosperous. Many believe that your voice, Power as Strong Leader and influence could play a meaningful role in mobilizing international attention and pressure to prevent further loss of life.
Acting now would not only help save lives, but could also contribute to long-term stability and peace in Iran and across the whole region. Such leadership would be remembered as standing with a suffering people at a decisive moment in history.
PLEASE ACT NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
Thank you for your time and consideration of this urgent appeal.
