We wanted to share an important update regarding Maryam.

First and foremost, thank you sincerely to every single person who has supported, donated, shared, and stood by her. Your kindness and generosity have made a meaningful difference.

Unfortunately, Maryam’s Instagram account (@maryamdawasofficial) has been hacked and, despite ongoing efforts, it has not yet been reinstated. Each time identification is requested as part of the recovery process, a technical error occurs, preventing resolution to the family in Gaza. This has significantly reduced her visibility and, as a result, impacted her ability to receive donations. If you are able to donate, please consider supporting Maryam and her family during this critical time.
 
We do still have the campaign account (@savemaryamuk), which you can tag to help draw attention from Instagram to this issue.

We kindly ask that you do not forget or overlook Maryam during this time. Although her visibility has decreased, her situation remains urgent. For a family that relies heavily on social media to survive, this disruption has had a serious impact. Her Instagram community was a vital source of both financial support and solidarity, including support from notable advocates such as Ms. Rachel.

We also urge Instagram to address this matter promptly. Maryam is a humanitarian case, and each day without restored access and visibility has a direct and worsening effect on her and her family.

If you have social media, we encourage you to speak about this situation and tag the campaign account to help amplify awareness. We believe it is critical to correct this issue and ensure that a child in urgent need is not silenced.
