Over the past month, restrictions on aid entering Gaza have tightened significantly. Essential items such as fresh food, flour, chicken, and eggs have not been allowed through, while non-essential goods continue to pass. As a result, fresh healthy food is now extremely expensive prices have risen to unprecedented levels.
Maryam’s family are currently facing severe hardship. The situation is deteriorating rapidly, and conditions are becoming comparable to the most difficult periods we saw last year.
Maryam requires specific non-gluten, nutritious foods for her health. These items are now both scarce and being sold at highly inflated prices, making them extremely difficult to access without immediate support.
