Dear Beautiful Supporter of Maryam Dawas,
Maryam is a child who has survived things no child ever should. She has put on 15 kg after her grandmother diligently looked after her. This is a milestone we celebrate. But this is only the beginning. She is at high risk of relapse. And we want to prevent that.
She lives with an autoimmune disease in Gaza, where bombs, hunger, displacement, and lack of medical care are daily realities. Her body is fragile. Her immune system is compromised. Safety is not optional for her, it is lifesaving.
For the first time in months, there is a small apartment available for Maryam and her family.
Four walls. A door that locks. A place away from constant danger, cold nights, and exposure.
This apartment means:
Protection from bombardment and displacement
Reduced infection risk for a medically vulnerable child
Stability, warmth, and dignity
A chance for Maryam to rest, recover, and simply exist as a child
We are £700 away from securing this apartment.
That £700 is the difference between:
A child sleeping safely indoors
Or returning to uncertainty, exposure, and risk
This is not a long campaign.
This is the final stretch.
If you have been waiting for the moment where your help directly changes a child’s reality, this is it.
Please donate if you can.
Please share if you cannot.
Maryam is so close to safety.
£700 left.
With gratitude,
