As a passionate fan of cinema and someone who has personally discovered, Patrice Vermette, the Production Designer for DUNE, I feel the passionate need to properly present this film. Each decade has its defining cinematic universe - Star Wars dominated the 70s and 80s, Lord Of The Rings reigned in the 2000s, Marvel took over the 2010s. Now is the time for DUNE to take its rightful place as a defining franchise of our current decade.

Unfortunately, due to pandemic-related circumstances beyond anyone's control, many fans were unable to experience Director Denis Villeneuve's vision on big screens. Instead, they had to settle for watching it on HBO's smaller screens. This did not do justice to Vermette’s intricate designs or Villeneuve’s grand vision.

With few major films being released currently, now is an opportune time for Warner Brothers to release DUNE Part 1 in theaters before opening Part 2. This will ensure that audiences can fully appreciate and understand this epic saga as intended by its creators.

We are urging Warner Brothers Studios not just as fans but also as advocates for preserving cinematic experiences that deserve their rightful place on big screens worldwide. Let us bring back Dune Part 1 into theaters where it belongs! Please sign this petition if you agree with this cause!
