Urge UN to recognize Scotland as a colonial territory

Urge UN to recognize Scotland as a colonial territory
The Issue
The country of Scotland continues to be exploited, with it's natural wealth and assets being stripped for the sole purpose of benefiting England by Westminster.
Scotland does not have political control over it's own oil, gas, financial sector, borders, immigration, military security, waters, and airspace, just to name just a few.
This situation, by dictionary definition, makes Scotland a colony, as those policies are controlled in the parliament of Westminster in London England.
This parliament consists of 543 MPs whom only the citizens of England elect, compared to 57 MPs who Scotland elects.
This means no matter Scotland votes for, It does not get and her citizens are forced to accept what ever Englands MPs vote for.
Just like Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg and many other small countries. Scotland would be a prosperous independent country, were her citizens would not forced into poverty by politicians that not a single Scottish citizen votes for.
We the signed implore the members of the United Nations to examine Chapter XI of the UN Charter: The Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples (1960).
It is time for the international community to acknowledge the colonial status of Scotland within the United Kingdom, as we do not possess the autonomy and self-determination that an equal partner should wield.
Scotland's relationship with the United Kingdom is not one of equals but rather one characterized by domination and forced subservience. The control over crucial sectors and resources by another government highlights the colonial-like status Scotland endures, which is increasingly untenable in the modern world that values independence and self-governance.
By recognizing Scotland as a colonial territory, the United Nations can pave the way for Scotland's journey towards legitimate self-determination and autonomy. It is crucial for the upholding of justice and fairness that Scotland's status is re-evaluated in the light of historical, political, and socio-economic facts.
Join us in urging the United Nations to recognize Scotland as a colonial territory inherent of its right to self-determination. With your support, a fairer assessment can guide the liberation and empowerment of Scotland, allowing it to flourish with its inherent natural wealth and resources intact, serving the true interests of its own people.
Please sign this petition to make the voice of Scotland heard on the international stage.
