Urge UK Government to Evacuate Our Family from Gaza

Urge UK Government to Evacuate Our Family from Gaza
The Issue
Our hearts are heavy and our eyes are teary as we plea for the urgent rescue of our Palestinian family trapped in the turmoil of Gaza. This is a plea not just of desperation but of survival. Already, tragedy has struck 24 members of our beloved family—24 lives stolen in the tragic unfolding of what can only be described as genocide. Among the lost was our uncle, a dignified elder aged 64, and our baby niece, who was merely 2 years old, robbed of her future before it began.
The situation grows more dire with each passing moment. It seems unimaginable, yet with heartbreaking regularity, we face new horrors. Just today, we received the devastating news that our brother-in-law was shot and fatally wounded by a drone. His heart was pierced as he simply ventured out, likely for the most basic necessities or to provide shelter for his loved ones amidst the chaos.
We live in constant fear, haunted by the thoughts of injury, arrests, and the beastly treatment inflicted upon our kin. Worse still is the gnawing anticipation of receiving a call or message carrying the grief of yet another loved one lost.
We appeal to the conscience and humanity of the UK government and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO): act now for the lives of those still holding onto hope amidst this catastrophe. We are not just pleading as citizens; we are pleading as human beings connected to a family whose only sin is the location they inhabit.
Concrete action is within reach. The UK government must leverage its international relations and capabilities to facilitate urgent evacuation and protection for those in harm's way. Diplomatic channels should be intensified, prioritizing humanitarian corridors for the immediate safety and transport of innocent lives endangered by relentless violence.
The clock is ticking, each second bringing new risks and theft of irreplaceable lives. This is not only our family's story but a sobering reflection of the perilous predicament faced by countless other Palestinian families. Please lend us your support in this urgent call to action. Sign this petition and amplify the voices of those yearning for safety and survival. Let us unite with hope, humanity, and the unwavering belief that together, we can save lives.
Please help fund and support our campaign. Also kindly leave a comment stating why you believe it's important to support us. Lastly kindly write to your members of parliament urging them to take our petition to the parliament.
We having been looking at different possibilities to help save our family out of Gaza but faced alot of obstacles and dead-end walls.
1. We can't do a family reunion because I'm on a spouse visa. I'm not a refuge here in the United kingdom.
2. British red Cross said they are only helping a few families who have the family reunion visa.
3. We are looking for a solicitor who can help us on the basis of human rights but have been unsuccessful as we keep being told they don't have the capacity to deal.
4. We emailed Islamic relief to ask for help for funding and some donations to be sent to our family in Gaza so they don't have to risk their lives daily to find food. But we have fallen on deaf ears. We have been told unwara is providing aid in Gaza. Im from north Gaza and can confirm no funds are reaching the people of Gaza from this source.
Also I asked Islamic relief for help and support to add my family on the the medical treatment list outside of Gaza. They ignored our plead for help.
5. We have emailed a doctor who works in Gaza and is from the United kingdom. We rang the hospital and have been told to wait for his response.
6. We emailed our member of Parliament Debbie Abrahams and have been told to seek legal advice. We contacted an immigration solicitor and have been told we can't get visas for our family because there's no tlc visa centre operating in Gaza for biometrics.
We contacted Debbie Abrahams again. She agreed to meet up but then stated she feels it would be wasting time and that her caseworker would be of more help and will be in contact with us the following week. But no caseworker contacted us.
We contacted Debbie's office. We spoke to a lady called Marzia. We got told I was sent an email from her. I didn't recieve it. We asked for an email to be resent. Yet again no email recieved explaining why we can't get any help.
I want to understand why we can't get the help we need to save our family even on the basis of human rights? Why are we pushed away?
7. We contacted FCDO and have been told they will only help the British not Palestinian nationals out of Gaza.
8. We have emailed numerous organisations who ignored us and didn't respond.
9. We wrote to 10 downing street keir Starmer but recieved zero response.
10. We are currently in a temporary accommodation my wife lost her job due to citizen advice unfairly terminating her contract in her welfare meeting because she spoke about the genocide.
11. We spoke to a UK immigration solicitor. We have been told that the UK home office and government rule is that biometrics have to be taken in Gaza. But the problem is that there is no functioning centre in Gaza to do this. This criteria has to be met.
Hence why we can't go down the route of getting a visa for our family or go down the route of human rights in the United Kingdom.
Do you remember when Ukrainian families were supported by United Kingdom with safe evacuation in the time of war.
This is the sort of help we need from our government.
Also we need permission to evacuate our families for medical treatment within the United kingdom as the treatments are not available in Gaza.
If you are a doctor or know a scheme to add our injured family members for medical treatment outside of Gaza. Please contact us immediately.
Thank you
Kind regards
