Urge U.S. Military intervention against Maduro loyalist forces

The Issue

On January 3rd, 2026, the U.S. carried out a series of targeted attacks on Venezuelan government and military infrastructure. Actions that paved way for the capture of President Nicolás Maduro. Following his capture, citizens of Venezuela took to the streets to celebrate the ousting of a leader who's regime has led to poverty, starvation, and other forms of suffering across the country. But nevertheless, forces loyal to the Maduro regime remain, and are threatening the safety of Venezuelan citizens.

As the U.S. moves forward with it's plans with Venezuela, they need to take into account the remaining Maduro loyalists, who by firsthand accounts from a friend in the country, are armed and kidnapping anti-Maduro civilians, putting their lives in jeopardy. If peace and prosperity in Venezuela, and strong U.S.-Venezuela relations are to take place, then Maduro's loyalists must be stopped, and force from the U.S. Military may be the only way to achieve this.

I write this petition to urge the Trump Administration to use U.S. Military power to ensure the safety of Venezuelan citizens as part of a path forward to a peaceful, free Venezuela. The Venezuelan people cannot fend Maduro loyalists off alone, and are in desperate need of assistance. Assistance that may only be possible with U.S. Military action. By signing, you tell the Trump Administration that Venezuelan lives are at stake, and must be protected, or Maduro's ousting will be for naught.
