On the momentous day of January 6, 2025, when Fubo and Disney made public their intention to merge their respective live TV entities, I saw the potential for great change. The announcement signaled promise that Hulu + Live TV and Fubo would unite under one banner, becoming one entity, largely under Disney's control. The news is equally fascinating and promising for anyone who values variety and convenience in their television viewing.

While both companies have assured that neither service will be discontinued, a possible outcome of this merger is the discontinuation of Hulu's Live TV service, transferring its channels and local stations to Fubo. And herein lies the aim of our heartfelt appeal.

We believe that the outcome we advocate for could drastically enhance user experience. Imagine accessing an array of some of The CW and MyNetworkTV stations that are owned by Bahakel Communications, Block Communications, Circle City Broadcasting, Graham Media Group, Gray Media, Hearst Television, News-Press & Gazette Company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Tegna, Inc., Weigel Broadcasting, channels such as A&E Global Media networks, Comedy.tv, Warner Bros. Discovery networks, MotorTrend, and Vevo Music Channels all under one roof. The ease and convenience this would offer to an average viewer are indisputable. Not to mention the opportunity it opens up for companies to provide more targeted and streamlined service.

  Therefore, we articulately request that The Walt Disney Company consider shutting down Hulu + Live TV and integrate its broad range of channels and local stations to Fubo. This move will be a win-win situation for all stakeholders, especially us - the fans and dedicated followers of these platforms. After all, the purpose of media is to entertain and to make user experience as seamless as possible. The Hulu streaming service will still be active by itself and on Disney+.
