As a citizen of Pakistan, I am deeply affected by the recent decision of the Supreme Court to take away the political sign 'BAT' from Imran Khan's party, Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI). This ruling is not just an issue for me but also for approximately 120 million voters who support PTI. The removal of our party symbol is more than just a symbolic loss; it disrupts our democratic structure and threatens to affect the lives and futures of 250 million people in Pakistan.

The BAT symbol has been associated with PTI since its inception and represents our belief in justice, humanity, and self-esteem. Taking away this symbol hinders our ability to effectively communicate these values to potential voters. It also creates an uneven playing field as other parties are allowed their recognized symbols.

We believe that every political entity should have an equal opportunity to represent themselves in a way that resonates with their supporters. This decision undermines this principle by creating unnecessary obstacles for one particular party.

Therefore, we urge the Supreme Court of Pakistan to reconsider its decision on PTI's political symbol. We believe that restoring this symbol will ensure fair competition among all parties and uphold democratic values which are crucial for any thriving nation.
