For over 20 years, Indiana has been under a super-majority, failing to fully under take a democratic process or uphold democratic values - this is more than a political issue; it's a matter of principle and fairness for every Hoosier. We are asking for Karen Tallian to pass the torch to the next generation and we are demanding that the state party be more transparent about the reorganization process for all Democratic members to be encouraged to get involved. During this process, we have seen nothing publicized from the Indiana Democratic Party on the candidates, the process, how the votes are cast, who is eligible, etc.

We would like an independent ethics investigation based on the information released in this article that was published on March 13th. Tallian and Camp Finalizing Deal Which alleges that there was a deal made between Tallian and Derek Camp, alleging that Camp was asked to drop out of the race for State Party Chair to receive Karen's vacant seat in the DNC. Our voices, as members of the public, have repeatedly fallen on deaf ears. The Indiana Democratic Party State Chair and select congressional district chairs and central state committee members have exhibited an undesirable lack of responsiveness to our concerns. It’s through this petition that we demand their resignation, seeking to foster a more open, progressive future for Indiana's political landscape.

In a state where many rural residents have been side-lined by political decision-makers, our representatives must reflect our diverse communities and concerns. Let us stand together in this fight for political change and demand a healthy democratic process. 

The time has come for a new leadership, one that is receptive and answers to the voices of all residents of Indiana. We, the citizens of this great state, deserve better.
