As a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan and season ticket holder, I know thousands of supporters who share my steadfast belief that the Birds should permanently sport the Kelly green uniforms of their past. I have spent the last 30 years refusing to don the midnight green rendition. For decades, I believed the Lurie green was a curse upon our team. The 2017 and 2024 teams proved me wrong, thankfully, but the drumbeat for change has only gotten louder since. The team brought back the Kelly greens 2 years ago as an alternate uniform, and since then, the team has gone 5-0 on the few occasions they have sported them. The Kellys sell like hot cakes and the stadium is increasingly tinted the proper way.

I can only conclude that if Eagles management wants to provide every advantage they can to our team and our city and give this special, generational squad the best chance to bring home another Super Bowl, the Eagles should absolutely wear the Kelly green uniforms PERMANENTLY GOING FORWARD. 

I would encourage Mr. Lurie to visit Arrowhead Stadium and see the power of color singularity. Can you imagine a stadium of fans united in Kelly green? I would encourage Mr. Lurie to consider how well the sales of these alternate uniforms have done in the last few years. Mr. Lurie is a great owner, this is just common sense, follow the money.
