My relationship with Thomas Creek Brewery runs deep. I have known the original owners for over a decade and served as a bartender for three memorable years under their thoughtful and caring management. My ties to the Davis family extend far beyond mere business; they are family to me and Thomas Creek Brewery will always be a part of me. Alarmingly, though, the enjoyable atmosphere and the lively spirit of the taproom that we all love seem to be at risk.

Under the brewery's new ownership, the taproom hours have drastically changed, effectively depleting what was once a welcoming local hub. This shift has led to disappointment among the regulars and the local community at large, who used to frequent the brewery for its great beers and inviting social scene.

On average, small breweries throughout America generate about 10% and, in some cases, up to 50% of their revenues from their taprooms according to the Brewers Association. Brewing is not just about beer-making; it's about cultivating a community around it. Closing down the taprooms eliminates abundant revenues and heartens loyal clients.

We believe in the value of local businesses and the essential role they play in promoting economic growth and community bonding. As such, we are imploring the new owners of the Thomas Creek Brewery to consider our plea and reinstate regular taproom hours. This way, the brewery can continue serving great beers while fostering the invaluable sense of community that, in my personal experience and the shared experiences of many others, has always characterized the Thomas Creek Brewery.
