We should all be saddened by how controversy has been used as a tool for gaining attention and turning it into false fame, particularly by the Kardashians. This petition is not about personal dislike or resentment; rather, it is about addressing an unhealthy trend that has been set in our society. The Kardashians have become a symbol of this trend, where fame is achieved not through talent or contribution to society but through scandal and controversy.

According to a study published in The Journal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media, reality TV shows like "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" contribute significantly to viewers' perceptions of narcissism and materialism (Ferris et al., 2007). This sends a wrong message to our younger generation who are growing up idolizing such "celebrities" that are pushed by the media they pay. $$$$$.

We believe that celebrities should be people with talent, that hard work on their talent. We are calling on the Kardashian family to step back from their "celebrity" status.
