Lee Hyo-sun, 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 27. She was one of the 238 women who officially affirmed to have been forced into sexual slavery during World War II by Japan. Her death deepens the need for more pressure on the Japanese government to offer a formal apology and recognize responsibility for the sexual slavery of the "comfort women."
