I am watching the world unravel around me, powerless as wars and injustices continue to escalate, especially in Ukraine. The  treatment of the democratically elected President of Ukraine by Donald Trump, fully displayed to us through television media, has me wanting to stand up and encourage others to do the same. This is our chance to take action.

We appeal to the government to rescind the invitation extended to Donald Trump to embark upon a State  is it. As a citizen affected by global politics, I am deeply concerned about the endorsements we might be signaling. Statistics drawn from Pew Research Center indicate that globally, confidence in President Trump stands at just 29% [1], highlighting a global disenchantment with his ability to handle international relations. When we invite such a figure to be our guest , we are indirectly condoning their behaviours or politics that may not be in line with our principles.

Therefore, to uphold our country's values, integrity, and stand against injustice, it is crucial that this invitation be withdrawn. Affirm your stand by signing this petition now. Together, we can convey our message that principles and justice should be placed above diplomatic courtesies.
