As an informed voter deeply invested in the democratic process, I believe it's crucial to have access to both sides of the story. Currently, this balance is not being provided sufficiently by the media. Therefore, I implore the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to create and execute a nationally available Daily Briefing. This initiative aims to correct and counteract the misinformation and disinformation disseminated by the Trump Administration.

Given the Pew Research Center’s finding that 64% of U.S adults believe fake news has caused “a great deal” of confusion about basic facts of current events, there is an urgent need for reliable and balanced information. A daily briefing from the DNC would help rectify this alarming trend.

A well-informed populace is the bedrock of a healthy democracy, and it is the DNC's responsibility to ensure the people have access to accurate, unbiased, and comprehensive information. By establishing a nationwide Daily Briefing, the DNC can provide an essential public service, fostering a better-informed electorate and contributing to a more balanced public discourse.
