As a Postal retiree and proud American citizen, I have witnessed firsthand the vital role that the United States Postal Service (USPS) plays in delivering mail and packages to every corner of our great nation. It is a cornerstone of our community, connecting loved ones and ensuring businesses can operate efficiently. Yet, I am deeply concerned about the future of this essential institution.

The American Postal Workers Union (APWU), dedicated to advocating for postal workers' rights and benefits, finds itself at a critical juncture. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party, which has long been the traditional ally of labor unions, seems to be neglecting the pressing needs of our union and taking the loyalty of postal workers for granted.
