We are residents of London, deeply disturbed by the ongoing crisis in occupied Palestine. It is our belief that Israel is conducting a genocide, and it's essential for all contributing funds to cease in order to halt this atrocity. As consumers, we have the power to influence corporate decisions through our purchasing choices.

Tesco, as one of the largest supermarket chains in the UK, has a significant role to play in this situation. By stocking goods from Israel, including the illegal settlements, and partnering with an Israeli company (Trigo), they directly and indirectly contribute towards an ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people. Despite mounting pressure from consumers, they have repeatedly refused to reconsider this. 

According to data from The Guardian (2019), Tesco holds around 27% of the grocery market share in the UK. This means that their decision could potentially influence millions of consumers and send a strong message against human rights violations.

We urge Tesco not only as concerned citizens but also as their vast customer base. By ceasing trade with Israel until they address these human rights concerns would be an impactful step towards justice.
