Urge Steele Rubber Products to Manufacture Vent Window Seal/Gasket for Checkers

The Issue

As a proud owner of one of the most iconic cars ever made, the Checker Marathon, I am part of a respectful and helpful community that cherishes these classic vehicles. However, we face a significant challenge in maintaining our beloved cars - there is no current manufacturer for rubber seal/gasket for vent windows on Checker Marathons (A11 & A12 models). This has been an issue for many years now and it's a part that we enthusiasts desperately need.

Our plea is to Steele Rubber Products or any other company willing to take up this task. The demand within our community is substantial enough to justify production, even if it comes at a premium cost. The lack of these particular parts hinders us from fully enjoying and preserving these remarkable vehicles.

The Checker Marathon holds an esteemed place in automotive history. It was produced between 1961-1982 by the Checker Motors Corporation of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Despite its discontinuation decades ago, there remains a strong following and high demand among car enthusiasts today.

By manufacturing these rubber gaskets again, not only would you be contributing significantly towards preserving automotive history but also supporting an enthusiastic community who deeply value their Checkers.

We urge Steele Rubber Products or any other potential manufacturers to consider this request seriously. Help us keep our cherished Checkers running smoothly by producing new rubber gaskets for vent windows on A11 & A12 models.
