The Issue

Snapple has always been a cherished part of my family and social life since I was a teenager. From sharing Snapples with my friends, to enjoying the peach Snapple with my now husband, these moments were always marked by the signature 'pop' of the glass bottles opening. However, since Snapple transitioned to plastic bottles, the experience just isn’t the same, and recently, I discovered that many others on TikTok feel similarly. I’m not alone in missing the authenticity and nostalgia that the glass bottles brought.

The shift from glass to plastic not only diminishes the drinking experience but also contributes to environmental concerns. Plastic pollution is a severe issue, with over 300 million tons of plastic being produced every year worldwide, and much of it ending up in our oceans and landfills, harming wildlife and ecosystems. Glass, on the other hand, is 100% recyclable and can be reused endlessly without losing its quality. Returning to glass bottles could significantly reduce Snapple's environmental footprint.

Furthermore, bringing back the glass bottles would restore the original appeal and joy that many of us associate with Snapple. The switch to plastic might have been aimed at cost-effectiveness or convenience, but it takes away the pleasure and quality that came with the original packaging.

We understand that changes in production might be challenging, but the benefits of returning to glass could far outweigh the costs. By stepping up to make this change, Snapple could not only regain customer satisfaction but also enhance its brand image as a company committed to sustainability and quality.

Join me in urging Snapple to recognize the demand for the return of glass bottles and to take a meaningful step towards both sustainability and customer satisfaction. Let’s bring back the original Snapple experience for ourselves and future generations. Please sign this petition to help make it happen.
