Urge Shedd to Rehabilitate and Release their belugas to Bear Island

Urge Shedd to Rehabilitate and Release their belugas to Bear Island
The issue
My deep connection and affection for marine life have driven me to start this petition. I am personally invested in ensuring marine creatures such as Beethoven, Naya, Kayavak, Aurek, Bella, Kimalu, Annik, Atlas, Whisper, and Shila currently housed in Shedd Aquarium and Georgia Aquarium are given the chance to experience the true glory of life in the wild.
It's well-documented that marine mammals thrive better in their natural habitats than in captivity. The renowned zoologist, Dr. Jane Goodall, confirmed this in her numerous studies, showing that captive dolphins, for instance, demonstrate increased stress, neurotic behaviors, and a significantly decreased lifespan compared to their wild counterparts.
The coasts of Bear Island provides a suitable environment for these creatures to readjust to the wild. Rehabilitation programs have shown good success rates in various parts of the world, improving animal welfare dramatically and restoring natural behaviors, as pointed out by the Marine Mammal Center.
By signing this petition, you're requesting Shedd Aquarium and Georgia Aquarium to consider a plan to rescue, rehabilitate, and eventually release these aquatic mammals back to a world where they truly belong - a world of freedom and survival, not mere entertainment.
Let's take a firm stand for these animals. Their freedom and home restoration is imperative to their survival. Don't ignore their silent plight. Please sign this petition.
