As a Michigan native, I have fond memories of visiting Sanders Candy Company in Clinton Township, MI. During a particularly difficult time in my life - the death of my mother - I sought comfort in the familiar taste of their hot fudge cream puffs. However, upon tasting their product recently, I was met with disappointment instead of nostalgia. The hot fudge tasted like medicine; it was so terrible that I threw it all away.

Sanders Candy Company has been an integral part of Michigan's culinary history since 1875 and is renowned for its delectable confections. Their original milk chocolate hot fudge topping recipe was beloved by many and contributed significantly to their reputation as a quality chocolatier.

However, recent changes to this recipe have not only altered its taste but also tarnished the cherished memories associated with it for many loyal customers like myself. This change has not only affected me personally but also countless others who have grown up enjoying this iconic treat.

We urge Sanders Candy Company to consider the impact this change has had on its long-time customers and request them earnestly to revert back to their original milk chocolate hot fudge topping recipe and caramel/butterscotch too.
