The Issue

I have two elderly cats who were starting to show signs of aging-related health declines. Their fur became dull, and they started losing weight. It was getting worrying until I discovered Royal Canin Aging Cat 12+. Since introducing this food into their diet, I've seen remarkable improvements: their coats are glossy, and they've gained and maintained a healthy weight. It's made a world of difference in their quality of life.

However, Royal Canin has recently replaced this essential formula with an inferior product called 11+. Not only is the packaging different, but the nutritional composition isn't equivalent to the 12+, and my cats refuse to eat it. It is clear to me that this new formula does not meet the same nutritional needs, evidenced by the return of some of the health issues that the 12+ formula had successfully addressed.

This situation isn't unique to my household. Many other pet owners have noticed the same disappointing changes in their cats' health and wellbeing. Older cats have very specific dietary needs, which were well met by the 12+ formula. Without it, senior cats are left without a food option that truly supports their health and longevity.

Royal Canin's Aging Cat 12+ was a lifesaver for many of us with senior feline companions. The change in the formula implies a compromise on the nutritional quality, which I believe is detrimental to our pets. We need to show Royal Canin that there is a strong demand for the original 12+ formula — not just a similar product but the exact formula that proved to be beneficial for our aging cats.

Please sign this petition urging Royal Canin to bring back the Aging Cat 12+ formula. Let's ensure that our senior cats can once again access the nutrition they need to thrive in their later years.
