Urge renewal of McFarlane Toys’ DC figure license

Urge renewal of McFarlane Toys’ DC figure license
The Issue
Growing up, my bedroom was a shrine to the heroes of the DC Universe. Batman's enigmatic strength, The Flash’s electrifying speed, and the unity of the Justice League accompanied me throughout my childhood in the form of DC figures. For years, under Mattel's license, my passion suffered. The figures did not capture the essence of the characters I cherished; they lacked detail and articulation, leaving me and countless others feeling neglected as DC enthusiasts.
Things took a remarkable turn in 2020 when McFarlane Toys acquired the license. Their figures were everything I dreamed of—captivating details, incredible articulation, and a true reflection of the heroes' spirit. The experience of collecting DC figures was resurrected with McFarlane Toys, bringing vibrancy and authenticity that rekindled my excitement and connection to the DC Universe.
Unfortunately, this newfound joy is at risk. Warner Bros. and DC are contemplating not renewing McFarlane Toys' license to produce collector-grade DC Multiverse figures, threatening the continuation of this high standard that collectors now expect and cherish. According to industry experts, with over 1 million units sold in the first year alone, McFarlane Toys has proven its dedication and capability to deliver quality to fans.
Losing McFarlane Toys’ unique craftsmanship and attention to detail would be a severe disappointment to the DC community. We need Warner Bros. and DC to recognize the significance that McFarlane Toys has brought to their brand. By renewing the license, they ensure collectors can continue to purchase figures that truly represent the heroes and villains they love.
We stand at a crossroad where the future of DC figure collecting is in jeopardy. It is crucial for the fans' voices to be heard.
Please support the continuation of this artistic journey by signing this petition. Let's inspire Warner Bros. and DC to renew McFarlane Toys’ license, allowing them to carry on producing these cherished collector-grade figures.
