Urge PepsiCo to Revive the Production of SoBe Beverages

Urge PepsiCo to Revive the Production of SoBe Beverages
The Issue
I write this petition as a long-term fan of SoBe beverages, fueled by my abiding love for the scent and taste of these unique drinks. Recently, many products from the early 2000s have been successfully reintroduced to the market, igniting a wave of nostalgia and joy among consumers. This has made me believe strongly that bringing back SoBe beverages would not only be profitable for PepsiCo but would also bring immense happiness to many loyal fans like myself.
SoBe, short for South Beach Beverage Company, was a popular line of fruit-based drinks owned by PepsiCo in the late 90s and early 2000s. The brand found favor owing to its exotic flavors and their herbal enhancements, offering a range of choices for consumers. According to Euromonitor International, the ready-to-drink tea market, which SoBe was a part of, generated $15.2 billion in retail sales volume in 2000, the year when SoBe was at the top of its game. After this period, despite a devoted following, production of SoBe beverages slowly dwindled until it was discontinued entirely.
Reintroduction of classic brands has been a successful strategy for many companies. PepsiCo itself brought back Crystal Pepsi in 2016 due to consumer demand, demonstrating how tuned in they are to their consumers' preferences. Restarting the production of SoBe beverages stands to engage an audience that grew up with the product and is likely to be emotionally vested in its comeback.
PepsiCo, we urge you to rekindle this connection with your past consumers and usher in an era of nostalgia by reviving SoBe beverages. Please listen to the voice of your loyal consumers and consider relaunching SoBe. Sign this petition if you would like to see the comeback of SoBe beverages.
