Urge NH House & Senate to Approve HB649: Abolish Vehicle Inspection Stickers

Urge NH House & Senate to Approve HB649: Abolish Vehicle Inspection Stickers
The Issue
I've personally experienced the harsh effects of vehicle inspection stickers, often feeling like a prey to car repair shops, many of which use these inspections to exploit the financially less fortunate and those lacking in-depth knowledge about vehicles. It’s also frustrating to funnel hard-earned money into modifying my car to comply with areas that don’t contribute to safety.
According to the American Automobile Association (AAA), numerous vehicle components checked during state inspections have no substantial connection with a vehicle’s overall safety. The abolition of NH inspection stickers, known as HB649, aims to eliminate this unnecessary and often stressful burden on New Hampshire residents, like myself.
The NH inspection stickers protocol not only weighs heavily on the budget of numerous vehicle owners, but also it unnecessarily complicates the simple pleasure and necessity of car ownership. By voting YES to HB649, our NH House and Senate members can support fair treatment of motorists, reduce financial exploitation in the name of safety inspections, and align our state's vehicle regulation with the evidence at hand.
Please sign this petition to join me in urging NH House and Senate to vote YES on HB649 for the betterment of all NH vehicle owners! Your signature does not just represent a vote, but a call for transparency, fairness, and reason within our all-important transportation systems.
