Urge Nexford University to Reinstate Flexibility in Course Load or Reduce Tuition Fee

The Issue

When I enrolled at Nexford University, it was the university's core values of flexibility, self-paced learning, and the ability to adapt my education to my personal and professional requirements that attracted me. These principles are now under threat with the university's new policy, limiting students to only two courses per term and imposing GPA and an unrealistic one-month completion advise for acceleration.

This new policy overlooks the considerable financial struggle students face in dealing with increased monthly tuition fees. The flexibility of taking more courses was a way for us to somewhat lessen the financial burden. However, the new policy confines us to no more than two courses, inadvertently multiplying the financial pressure on us and increasing our completion timeline.

We, the students of Nexford University, understand the motivation behind introducing a more structured and supportive learning protocol. Nevertheless, we propose an alternative solution: either returning to the original course policy or lowering the tuition fees, allowing students to opt for a slower-paced education without the threat of financial collapse.

We urge Nexford University to reconsider this new policy. It should maintain its founding principles of adaptability and flexibility, thereby promoting high-quality learning without compromising the financial wellbeing of its students. Sign this petition to support the request to Nexford University to revisit its new restrictive policy.
