I, like many others, have fond memories of using Windows 7. It was and still is one of the most memorable and best operating systems out there. However, as technology advances, not many applications support it nowadays. This has led me to believe that we should really get a remake.

Windows 7 was launched in 2009 and quickly became popular due to its improved performance, intuitive interface and innovative features. According to NetMarketShare data from July 2020, even after Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 7 in January that year, nearly a quarter (22%) of all PCs worldwide were still running this beloved operating system.

However, with the lack of official support comes the problem - fewer applications are compatible with Windows 7 now than ever before. This leaves us - the loyal users who appreciate its simplicity and reliability - in an increasingly difficult position.

By remaking Windows 7 with modern technology compatibility while retaining its user-friendly design principles that made it so popular initially would not only satisfy long-term fans but also potentially attract new users who value functionality over flashy design elements.
