Urge Microsoft to Add the Halo 2 E3 2003 Demo Level to Xbox Consoles

Urge Microsoft to Add the Halo 2 E3 2003 Demo Level to Xbox Consoles
The Issue
Halo Studios recently unveiled official support for a fully playable version of the famous 2003 E3 demo of Halo 2.
Halo 2 stole the show over 21 years ago with the unveiling of in-game footage which featured a level complete with new features and vehicles/weapons for the franchise, from the Gauss Warthog to the iconic Battle Rifle (which was slightly different here than in the final release), to dual-wielding SMGs and even boarding enemy vehicles.
Ultimately, though the features and weapons included in the E3 demo would of course make it into the final release, the level showcased at the event itself did not, meaning that Halo fans have never gotten to actually play that E3 level even two decades later.
Like many other Halo fans, I've spent countless hours absorbed in the world of Halo, fron playing the legendary videogames to reading the fantastic novels to getting my hands on as many Halo collectables as I can.
As a kid, I must have watched the E3 2003 Halo 2 demo a thousand times, wishing I could get my hands on it and experience it myself. It's amazing to see that all these years later Halo's amazing fanbase still shows its love of the series and modders have recreated that iconic level to make it fully playable on the PC version of the Master Chief Collection.
With mod support for the MCC limited to the PC only however, we, the loyal Xbox fans, are once again left out in the cold.
I for one would love nothing more than to experience it as it was originally intended - to be played on an Xbox.
If it wasn't for Halo, Xbox would simply not exist, and that is not an understatement. Halo IS Xbox, and vice versa.
It may be a very small project in the grand scheme of things to port this over to consoles, but for my money, bringing the Halo 2 E3 2003 demo to Xbox is not only feasible, it's an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to fan service and the preservation of gaming history.
Supporting the Halo community as much as possible while we await what the next chapter of Halo has in store for us should be a no-brainer for Microsoft and Halo Studios, and making the E3 demo playable on consoles would surely make for a grand gesture in the eyes of dedicated Halo and Xbox fans; even if it came with a small fee to cover expenses, I'm sure I speak for the majority of the Halo community in saying that we would love to see consoles get to jump in and finally experience that epic level we've all dreamt of playing.
If successful, it would also be a great way to kick off further mod support on consoles - letting popular PC mods, such as ones that include cut content from the classic Halo titles or crazy fan content like Cursed Halo, make the journey over to consoles and expand their audience to a much wider player base.
Let's make our voices heard and encourage Microsoft to make this iconic game demo accessible for all, not just those with gaming PCs.
Sign this petition now to urge Microsoft & Halo Studios to add the Halo 2 E3 2003 demo level to Xbox consoles, and help us relive the experience that ushered in a new era for Halo and Xbox fans.
