Urge Logitech to fully Linux support

Urge Logitech to fully Linux support
The Issue
As a gamer and a programmer, I've found that Linux is the best platform for my needs. Linux desktop use has been increasing over the years but hardware vendors have ignored this change, including Logitech.
Logitech creates hardware for power users but not for Linux. This is paradoxical, as many power users prefer Linux, especially programmers. We therefore pay for features we cannot use and are not supported for our logitech hardware. I am sure like me, many Linux users are holding off on buying peripherals from Logitech because of the poor support and neglect.
Steam Deck and Steam Machine are also Linux, and currently despite them having gaming and desktop features, have no first class support for Linux. Further to this, Linux gaming is increasing rapidly in English speaking countries, as here indicated by Steam statistics.
There are also numerous examples of governments and businesses switching to Linux, most recently:
Schleswig-Holstein, Denmark and Lyon
Linux users need peripherals too, and Logitech has very good ones that last and work well.
Our request to logitech is as follows:
- All logitech hardware is tested with Linux and ensured to work out of the box
- All logitech configuration software supports Linux (this can likely be distributed via flatpak)
- This must be done for current and future hardware
- For older hardware, Logitech releases the technical information necessary for Linux users to build their own configuration software.
If Logitech decides NOT to support Linux, we would like a detailed explanation as to why that is.
