As every life-long Dallas Cowboys fan, I was born into a proud community that relishes our team's triumphs. But something is unsettling, something isn't right. And the epicenter, I am compelled to say, is Jerry Jones. We're in a world that's rapidly changing, and so too must the leadership of our beloved Cowboys. This is more than a feeling, it is growing unrest.

The media has consistently highlighted the negatives under Jones' proprietorship. Many life-long fans appear disenchanted and there's obvious dissatisfaction among the players (ESPN, 2021). Our team, our passion, deserves better. It deserves a management that is in sync with its fans, one that cares for its players, and most importantly, one that acts upon the timeless values that define our team.

Excellent leadership drives team performance and fan satisfaction (International Journal of Sports Science & Coaching, 2017). It's about time we bring this back to the Cowboys. For the good of our beloved Cowboys, Jerry Jones, we respectfully ask you to consider the fans, the players and the legacy of this team. It's time to relinquish power or sell the team altogether.
