We, the residents of Roma and Zapata, Texas, are reaching out with a heartfelt plea for change. Since 1976 when H-E-B first opened its doors in Rio Grande City, it has remained the only store of its kind in Starr County. For 47 years we have been making long commutes to shop at our favorite store - H-E-B. Our community is tired of being limited to two grocery stores that do not meet our needs or expectations.

H-E-B's mission aligns with the heart of our people - we share a deep love for quality produce, meat markets and food products that are simply top-notch. The service provided by H-E-B partners is unparalleled and deeply appreciated by their customers.

However, the lack of an H-E-B store within reasonable distance from Roma and Zapata has been a source of frustration for many years now. The people's voices have not been heard for far too long; this petition serves as our collective call for attention.

We believe that bringing an H-E-B store into Roma would provide greatly benefit both the community members who adore your brand and your company as well. It is time to bring about this much-needed change.
