As a resident of Morgan Hill, I am personally affected by the lack of Greyhound and Flix bus stops in our town. Currently, we are forced to travel to San Jose or Gilroy just to begin our journeys. This is not only inconvenient but also costly for those without personal vehicles, as there is no VTA bus access or Caltrain access from Morgan Hill to these cities at early hours. The alternative? A Lyft or Uber ride costing $30 or more.

Moreover, even for those who own cars, leaving them parked in San Jose or Gilroy while traveling poses a risk of break-ins and theft of items or even the whole car! Having a local Greyhound and Flix bus stop would alleviate this concern and provide peace of mind for travelers.

We urge Greyhound Bus & Flix Bus companies along with the Mayor of Morgan Hill and Santa Clara County government officials to consider establishing a bus stop in our town - ideally near the Caltrain Station. This move would greatly benefit residents like myself who rely on these services for travel.
