The eight spirited seniors who have been leading the student section at basketball games in Fort Zumwalt South (FZS), Saint Peters, MO, have recently been banned from attending these games. These students are known for their enthusiasm and school spirit, contributing significantly to the overall atmosphere of these events. Their absence will cause a noticeable decline in school spirit and participation at basketball games.

According to a study by Cornell University, student participation and support during sports events can greatly influence the performance of athletes (Cornell University, 2015). By banning these spirited seniors from attending basketball games, we risk negatively impacting our team's morale and performance.

We believe that all students should be allowed to express their school spirit freely! We urge FZS administrators to reconsider this decision and lift the attendance ban on our spirited seniors. Let's bring back our cheerleaders; let's bring back our school spirit!
