The Issue

As a long-term Dexcom user, I personally have experienced the decline in the quality of Dexcom products. Since being one of the first pediatric patients to use Dexcom following their FDA approval in 2009, I've observed a serious drop in the efficacy of their products, especially since the introduction of the G5.

There have been inaccuracies and blatant issues surrounding quality control, which for a product integrated with insulin pumps and heavily relied upon by diabetics, can have fatal consequences. Indeed, the FDA has already issued a warning letter to Dexcom, recognizing these dangerous shortcomings.

While I understand the importance of continuous glucose monitoring systems for diabetes management, the potential harm posed by inaccurate readings can not be overlooked. It's imperative that inaccuracies are minimized to ensure the safety of all users, particularly those with diabetes who are already fighting a daily life-or-death battle.

In the name of public health and for the safety of all those reliant on Dexcom products, I urge the FDA to take stringent action and recall Dexcom products off the market until these severe quality control issues are fully addressed and rectified. Please sign this petition to safeguard the health and lives of individuals living with diabetes.
