We, the Fortnite community, are calling on Epic Games to address serious concerns surrounding in-game cosmetics associated with D4vd.

There are ongoing and widely reported allegations involving extremely serious crimes connected to this individual. While the legal process is still ongoing, many players feel deeply uncomfortable continuing to see and use these cosmetics in-game. For some, it goes beyond a simple emote—it’s a reminder of a tragic and disturbing situation involving a young victim, Celeste.

This is not about overreacting or “cancel culture.” It’s about basic compassion and respect. Celeste was someone’s daughter, sister, and friend. The continued presence of these items in Fortnite has created a divide in the community and left many players feeling that their concerns are being ignored.
